Volunteer
Volunteers have the opportunity to make a huge difference in someone’s life. No person should go without basic needs and our mission provides a path of hope to the distressed in the community. Volunteer events are meet ups that last about 2 hours.
If you are looking to sign-up a group of 5 or more, please email Theimpoverishedorphan@gmail.com or call (279) 201-4731 between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday through Sunday.
Events with foster kids are family friendly with no age limitations. Events with the unhoused community require volunteers to be at least 10 years of age or older and with an adult.

Clothing Donation Swap

Clothing Donation Swap. Bring in any used clothes to drop off and exchange them from something we have on hand. This event is for all ages. We have items for infants, toddlers, men and women.

Beginning Meditation Class

Our Beginning Meditation class will teach beginners the techniques and best practices on how to meditate. Techniques involve learning how to sit, breathe, and being present in the moment. This a Level 1 class designed for beginners that are new to the field of meditation.

This event is for all ages. We will be participating in this annual Free event to raise awareness the Impoverished and the Orphan. This entails setting up a table for prayer and conversation as well as giving away toys to kids and exchanging goods.
